Artists have always feared that they are unappreciated and that the march of progress comes only from business, science and their machines. 1984 was imagined by an artist projecting these exact fears. Art school can give you advice on developing a portfolio, opportunities to show your work and introduce you to helpful books, blogs and websites.
Art school can give you invaluable experience in meeting deadlines, accepting critiques, and meeting a client's needs.
Basically, what good art schools do is take a gem and polish it. If you aren't passionate about drawing, if you've never drawn before in your life, if you just want to have fun in college or if you're not sure what you want to do with your life, art school will only massively waste your time and
